Some Like is Hot, MOSS camp, July 7-11, 2008

TBI and Montana Outdoor Science School teamed up for a week of Teen Explorations, “Some Like it Hot”.  The students came to MSU for a day of laboratory activities including DNA extraction and microbial identification.  Following their introduction to scientific processes, the students spent 2 days in Yellowstone National Park surveying the many thermal features of Old Faithful and Norris Geyser Basin.  Graduate student, Dana Skorupa showed the students her research site and provided the students with tools and instruments to collect and interpret data.
