Girls for Change

Thermal Biology provided a workshop at the Girls for a Change Conference in Bozeman.  There were 10 communities represented: Bozeman, Big Sky, Charlo, Dillon, Gallatin Gateway, Lewistown, Pray, Seeley Lake, Silver Bow, and Whitehall. Eighty girls in all, 8th grade to 12th grade attended the conference designed to empower girls to embrace their future.  Our role was to generate interest in science careers by providing intriguing information about Yellowstone National Park’s thermal features and to provide a hands-on activity.
